Welcome to the rules! I'm Bunny, one of the members of staff here in the Konari Region. Here is how it goes down. I'm splitting it into parts to make it more navigable. Oh, and on a side note, there is a secret code that you must have in all your bios to get them accepted. You gotta read the rules to learn it.
Section One: Basic Forum Rules
Section Two: Character and Wild Pokemon Rules
Section Three: Pokemorph Rules
Section Four: Other Information
Thanks for reading this uber-long rules thing. I've seen longer, but...
Anyway. I hope you read the WHOLE THING, or else you won't know the secret code. Remember to put it in every bio you make. If there is anything else, it will be added. Bye for now!
Section One: Basic Forum Rules
- If you don't know what roleplaying is, it is like writing a story with many people. You control your characters and interact with others.
- You must be at least semi-literate. No chatspeak, for example tlkin lyk tis. Each post must have at least four sentences.
- No godmoding (being invincible) or powerplaying (playing as other people's characters).
- No Mary or Gary Sues, meaning no perfect characters.
- Be nice to all members and show some respect. Do not take in-character feuds out of character. If you think someone is a good roleplayer or very kind, give them a Karma.
- No made-up Pokemon, unless it has been accepted by staff in the "Konari Pokedex" board.
- Be polite to staff. They are your superiors here, and can warn you if you misbehave. First time you act out you are warned, second suspended for as long as they see fit, third banned.
- Be patient. People will respond to threads as fast as they can. After all, everybody has lives outside of roleplaying.
- No spamming. Kinda falls under the Be patient rule, no bumping threads.
- Use some form of OOC (Out of Character). If you need to say something outside of a roleplay during one, use "ooc: Messagehere" or ((Messagehere)).
- Characters can only be in one thread at a time. If you want them to be somewhere else, you have to end the thread you are in (or make them leave it) and join the other one.
- You have to TRAVEL. If you are at one town and want to get to another, you have to take a route to get there. Unless, of course, you have a Pokemon with you that knows Fly, which in that case you can use that to travel faster.
- Secret code is " ;D "
Section Two: Character and Wild Pokemon Rules
- To make a character, use the form and post your bio in the Create a Character board. A staff member will tell you if it is accepted or not. If not, they will tell you what you need to change.
- Your character limits (at the beginning) are as followed. Two human characters, one Pokemorph, one Team Kumori member. You can buy more character slots later.
- Once your character is made and have recieved a Pokemon from Professor Willow, you must make a PC. The PC thread must be called "Your character's name"'s PC. You must have a different PC for each character. THIS MUST BE UPDATED PERIODICALLY.
- You can not make wild Pokemon appear yourself, there is an account called "Wild Pokemon" for this.
- Wild Pokemon who only come out at night will not appear to you at 10 AM (forum time).
- If a wild Pokemon that you really want can appear on the board you are on, you may ask for that Pokemon to appear in front of you. You must ask politely and do not demean yourself by begging.
- Wait, no. I'm changing the secret code to " ", just to make sure you kept reading.
Section Three: Pokemorph Rules
- Your Pokemorph must be one of two types, Transforming or Stable. Transforming Types may have the hair color and eye color of their morph Pokemon, and perhaps a forehead jewel, but nothing else. They can transform into the Pokemon, which makes them completely disguised. Stable Types cannot transform at all; although they have the tail, wings, horns, antlers, claws, eyes, hair color, ears, ect. of the Pokemon they are morphed with (not neccessarily all of those, though).
- Pokemorphs may own Pokemon and have all of the freedom of a human, but if they do own a Pokemon they themselves can't battle for gym badges, contests, or in the Elite Four Challenge. If they don't own a Pokemon, they are allowed to fight for badges and the Elite Four, but contests are still off limits.
- Pokemorphs CANNOT be morphed with legendaries here!
Section Four: Other Information
- Legendaries can only be found on Legendary Island. To get to Legendary Island, you must defeat the Elite Four. However, there are other ways to get here, like winning the Grand Festival. There are other ways too, but those are secret. You must take a boat to Legendary Island, and once there you have ONE CHANCE to try to catch any legendary of your choosing. However, they are extremely hard to catch, and you can't be upset if you don't catch it. After all, there are only so many legendaries.
- Okay, the REAL secret code is " ". I'm not changing it anymore.
